Hello!

I hope you all had a great
holiday season these past few months. Truly, the holidays are a wonderful time
of year. Except for the few who are in bad situations with their familes. I
know you’re out there, and I feel for you. Really. I’m not in the best situation
with my family either.

Anyways, we have been down
since October or November, and I apologize. I’ve been in a slump since then,
which is thankfully seeming to clear up now although I make no promises about
staying out of it, and my motivation for everything dropped. Please don’t feel
like it’s just KF.

As you have hopefully seen on
our Facebook page, we have a new story coming, and the rest have been discontinued.
Three stories is, for any young author (aspiring or not), too much to handle at
once. It sucks up your creativity, in my experience. This story will be about a
young girl (Cici? Clara? Racheal? Amber?) who we need a name for. It will be the
traditional “childhood friend vs. new trouble-making guy” love triangle,
similar to the one from the Iron Fey series (Julie Kagawa) and the Vampire
Academy series (Richelle Mead). Both are wonderful series, and I am addicted! You
may be wondering why I’m writing this with no main plotline, and part of it is
to try and get people onto the team. As of now, we only have one or two people,
and we haven’t really even asked them about any ideas. Plus, the stories they
were to work on have been discontinued. Everything has, and will be moved to
one big blog. The pieces will be removed from my computer and completely
trashed. Except the notes, which may be handy with future pieces.

WE
ARE STILL RECRUITING FOR OUR TEAM!!! PLEASE contact us if you are even remotely
interested in joining! We need all the
help we can get!

Joining the team is FREE. The
only thing we ask is that you give us ideas when you have them, or when we are
asking. Hopefully, these brainstorming meetings will be done through a Skype
group call. If that doesn’t work for you, we can find another way through
email, Facebook, or something else. We’ve got plenty of ways to communicate
with people, and if we don’t have something (say Kik, for example) we are more
than willing to get it if that’s the only way you have to actively communicate
with us. It’s NOT a problem, as long as you are actively producing ideas. (By
active, we mean once a week or so. Twice a week, even. That’s probably the most
we’ll ask.)

Again, I hope you all had a
very nice holiday season. The Vampire Academy movie comes out soon, so keep
your eyes open! Also, please go read the books! They are AMAZING.

Hey there! This is Kate, as usual for this page. I've sent the chapters off to Bhri for editing (actually, I did a couple weeks ago.) and I hope they'll be ready to go soon. I'm trying to get her to send what she has so I can go ahead and post them, but no such luck yet. As has been stated before, she is busy with college, and has recently gotten her Associate's degree, so I don't blame her for taking this long to edit nine chapters that are each three or four pages each. Hopefully they will get done soon. I may end up editing them myself. (... I think I'll start when I finish this entry.)

Also, we are now moving back to monthly updates from late August to late December, and from January to early June. I'll make a calendar and post it on the home page with a schedule. Mid June to late August will be bi weekly, as will late December. (Note: The calendar will be approximate. School's release and start dates vary by up to a week each year.)

This entry is short, and it's meant to let you know that we have NOT stopped writing and such. So, the calendar will be up soon if I can find the right photo to edit. And hopefully some stories will be added back soon.

Lastly, the edited chapters will be added bi-weekly in rounds. Meaning, the first chapters will be uploaded one week. Two weeks later, the second chapters will be. Two weeks after that, the third chapters will. Then one month after the third chapters go up, the fourth chapters will, as those need to be finished and edited. The first three rounds will be done bi-weekly because the editing (for me) will only take a night or two. The writing takes much longer. So, I hope you'll enjoy what comes up.

Please feel free to give us feedback! We would LOVE to hear a few messages with constructive criticism.

All my best,
Kate

P.S. Check out Pentatonix, Boyce City, and Megan&Liz. They're all great cover bands. :D

Hey again! Welcome to the new website. I'm writing this before it's published, but only to let you know that we have edited the stories, which is mostly just re-wording them. If you're looking for my previous blog posts, check the old site. We're leaving it up, but the stories are going to be taken down once this one is published.

Also, I moved websites in the first place because I partnered with an old friend of mine. I felt like the stuff I was putting up was really shitty, pardon my language. The wording and plotting and character development weren't up to my standards, and I am one of those people that's not gonna get crap done if it doesn't have to be done. So yeah. Bhri is really helpful. She's always helped me plot when I wrote, and she's great with editing and stuff, whether she likes to say so or not. I'm good with everyone else's work but my own. So.

Anyways, Bhri is frikkin awesome. Loads of help. And she's funny. And I met her through a cool neighbor of mine. On the Fourth of July. .... Yeah. Anyways. xD

All my best,
Kate
